Abstract

Imagine what it would be like if secondary school students would be really passionate about their courses, instead of simply following a set out path as they do today. Can we blame the students for having no motivation or no interest in following the limited basic courses a secondary school offers? Or is it our very outdated educational system that is hardly updated over time, which is causing this demotivation?

In these days, there is a wide variety of academic studies available with lots of specialisation opportunities. Therefore, we want to give secondary school students the opportunity to develop their specific interests instead of limit them to the basic courses they are currently being taught.
